Good morning, sunshine! It’s another school day. I’m excited to see Aikori’s house.
At school, it’s the usual. Kanou- surrounded by girls, Iuchi-reading manga, Prince-sleeping, and Aikori- what? Looking outside? I really can’t tell what is on her mind. I really want to ask her about it. But I can’t have a chance.
“Morning, Aikori-chan.” I greeted her.
“Good morning! Medori-chan!” she smiled beautifully. She’s like that when talking to someone, but when she’s alone, she really is lonely.
“Are you okay?” I finally ask her.
“Of course, I am.” She smiled. “I am excited.”
“Why?” I asked her.
“Medori..” she smiled. “how can you forget? You will go our house later, right?”
“Oh! Yes! Of course. I am excited too.” I smiled. Then we started the class. Uh, I really can’t wait for the dismissal. I am too excited to go to Aikori’s house. Uh, at last! It’s already 4PM. Dismissal!
“Let’s go?” Aikori asked.
“Sure.” I answered. We ride her car. It’s really gorgeous. She’s really that rich? I’m so lucky to have a friend like her. We reached a place, is this their house? Oh. Not house, a mansion. Oh, it’s really a mansion. I wonder what it looks like inside. We went inside the mansion. It’s really big. It’s only one-eight of our house, eh. Ha-ha. All I can see are maids, servants and other houseworkers. So, where’s her family? Maybe upstairs?
“Miss Aikori. What can we do for you?” a servant asked.
“Oh. We’ll just go to my room. Please, bring us snacks. Thank you.” Aikori said.
“Miss, your Father is- “ the servant said.
“It’s okay. I don’t want to hear where he is.” Aikori said. It’s really a line that has been questionable to me. I wonder why she said that. I wonder where her father was. Is this the reason of her loneliness? Uh. I have too many questions I want to know the answer. We went to her room. As I enter, I saw a queen-sized bed. She told me stories, so many stories about her. But my questions are not yet answered.
“Medori-chan?” she continued, but now serious. “..do you want to know my long time crush?”
“I would love to.” I told her. I wonder who’s her crush. Is it Prince? Or Kanou?
“He’s been my crush since middle school. So I followed him here in Riuka High.” She continued.
“I wonder who he was.”
“Guess who?”
“Prince?”
“Oh.. no.” she smiled. “Prince is really handsome, and gentleman. But he’s been an older brother to me since we were in mid school.”
“Oh.. midschool friends?”
“Yah. Actually.” She smiled.
“Oh.. so, is it Kanou?”
“Kanou? No way. Evil man.” She laughed. “but he’s the hearthrob, I wonder why.” She laughed again.
“Oh? Not Prince.. not even Kanou? Who’s that lucky guy?” I smiled.
“He’s lucky.. I’m not.” She frowned.
“Why?”
“He can’t notice me.”
“What? You’re so cute. How can he not notice you?” I said.
“Don’t know.”
“Wait. Do I know this guy?” maybe I don’t know him, because I don’t have friends, you know.
“Uh-huh.” She nodded. But, who is this guy? I only knew, Prince, Kanou and Iuchi..
“ IUCHI!” I shouted. I smiled. She smiled. “really? Iuchi?” I really can’t believe it.
“Yah. It’s been five years.”
“Five years?! And he didn’t even notice you?! That’s impossible!” I couldn’t believe that Iuchi is ignoring Aikori.
“It’s possible.” She’s really that negative.
“Why?”
“Because.. he doesn’t know how to love.”
“What?!” I’m really shocked. Iuchi doesn’t know how to love? How is that possibe for a guy like him? Why?
“He only notices… Prince.” What did she just said? Prince? Did I hear it correctly? Or what? Iuchi only notices Prince?
“Eh?”
“Yes. You know, they’ve been bestfriends since childhood, too. Like us.”
“So? How ‘bout you?”
“We’re not friends.”
“What?! How’s that so?”
“Uh.. I don’t want to talk about it. So annoying.” She just said that. I don’t want her to be mad right now. I just want to enjoy this day with her.
“Oh.. ‘kay.” I said. “How long do you know Prince?” I don’t know why I said that.
“Uh. About 6 years. Eh? Why did you suddenly asked?” she smiled. “Eh.. You like him, right?”
“No. No. I am just curious about him. Cause he’s like my friend before. He’s very kind hearted.”
“Yah. Prince really is like that. That’s why many girls fell in love with him, maybe you’ll be one of them someday.” She teasingly smiled.
“Eh. What are you saying? Hm.” We laughed. And we talked about each other..
